I had a question about this lab. Were the two masses given in the beginning. m1=2.674kg and m2=1.100kg. I'm trying to follow the teacher manual and assist my students, but they keep asking about the two masses. They're not specifically labeled either, they just say m1 and m2. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.
I believe there is an error in the translation from the original French version to the English version. In French, numbers are punctuated without commas but rather a space after the hundreds instead.

The masse m1 is therefore 2674 kg and m2 = 1100 kg.
